| Samhain - 31st October Also known as All Souls Day and Halloween, Samhain is the Celtic/Pagan New Year and is our biggest celebration of all. This is the festival that marks the end of the summer and is dedicated to the dead. It is the time when the veil between the world of the living and the world of the dead becomes thin and misty. We honour our ancestors and other departed souls, visit graveyards, celebrate around a big bonfire with music, singing and revelry. It is the beginning of the dark half of the year. "And you who seek to know Me, Know that the seeking and yearning Will avail you not, Unless you know the Mystery: For if that which you seek, You find not within yourself, You will never find it with out."
