| Lughnasadh (Lammas) 2nd August At Lughnasadh, also known as Lammas, we give thanks for the first fruits of the harvest. We bake a loaf to represent the Corn King, decorate it with corn dollies, fruits, barley, wheat or oats from the fields and symbolically sacrifice it by burning or burying it.
